A great wee cafe with delicious food that's so reasonably priced. The real highlight is the staff. They're so warm and welcoming.

Only discovered this place at the start of May and I can’t help but go back! The food is so tasty and the staff are so friendly. Highly recommend the Mac cheese on its on or in a toastie, panini’s are yummy and so are the baked potatoes. Great choice for the kids too at great prices! Oh yeah and the cakes are tasty too!

Went in on Wednesday afternoon, seated ourselves near the window, plenty of space for a pram, after a quick read of the menu someone came over to take out order, and with in 5 mins of ordering out coffee was served and not long after our food arrived, The food and coffee were great and also a great price. The homemade cakes were delicious The staff were lovely, really friendly. The cafe has plenty of space, could easily squeeze in more tables but instead is spaced out so you don't feel crammed in, could easily move the pram about with having to disturb anyone else. 100% recommend for families with kids looking for a cafe they can eat in without feeling like your in the way.

Callan's Cafe new home. It has brightened up this end of the street. Warm, friendly & comfortable. It was a cold, wet day so we ordered Soup & sandwich combo. Was NOT disappointed. Soup ( lentil) blended, was lovely. And the egg mayo on white bloomer bread was yummy and generous. Friend had Lentil soup and spicy chicken panini. Was told it was also great. Shared a pot of tea for two (4 cups of tea) and had an amazing chocolate brownie and delicious jam, coconut slice. A great place to meet friends, have a great lunch, hide out from the weather or nip out at lunch break to pick up lunch. A++++++!

Lovely food and staff, and I can highly recommend the baked macaroni. Great prices for a lunch that fills you up. Only two wee things: it's so busy that you have to wait a wee while to order and the noise level is sometimes a bit overpowering for me. Staff are friendly and efficient and the food seems to be freshly cooked which means it takes a little while for it to get to your table but well worth the wait. I've never had bad food here. 9.999 out of 10.
